The Chemical Engineer 1 position at Westinghouse is designed for recent graduates who are eager to contribute to innovative clean energy solutions. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days a week at the Madison, PA facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
• Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
• Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Ability to apply general engineering principles and techniques to assist in the investigation, evaluation, and solution finding for operational issues.
• Ability to quantify and qualify engineering opinions and judgment with calculations and supporting documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior Nuclear Industry experience strongly preferred.
