About the position

Skanska is seeking a New-Grad Project Engineer to join their Project Management Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful construction projects that enhance society and the environment. The Project Engineer will be involved in various aspects of project management, including contract setup, submittals, and scheduling, while embodying Skanska's values of diversity, inclusion, and ethical practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract setup and management.
• Prepare and manage submittals and shop drawings.
• Support the bid package process and change orders.
• Help with project scheduling and coordination.
• Create documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence.
• Participate in project closeout activities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in creating documentation related to construction contracts.
• 1-3 years of experience in reading and understanding construction plans and technical specifications.
• 1-3 years of experience with project closeout processes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
