About the position

The New Grad RN position at Menorah Medical Center is designed for recent nursing graduates to transition into professional nursing roles through the HCA Nurse Residency Program. This full-time role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with medical teams, and the development of clinical skills in various specialty areas. Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, documenting care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses, intervening as necessary for unintended responses.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs and resolving them proactively.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
  • No previous experience needed.

  • Other certifications may be required during employment.
