As a New Graduate Engineer, you will research and gain an understanding of applicable state, county, and local codes, ordinances, funding mechanisms (grants, loans, etc.), and regulations. You will learn to understand the assigned disciplines' typical project functions, objectives, and requirements. Responsible for gaining an understanding of OHM, completing introductory technical project tasks in their assigned discipline along with coordinating assigned work with other team members. Your role will involve participating in the collection and analysis of data and preparation of satisfactory designs for roadways, municipal utilities, and other infrastructure. You will perform design calculations and conduct investigation analysis towards the completion of assigned design tasks and direct preparation of design specifications. Additionally, you will perform quantity estimates, detailing, and check calculations and drawings, while organizing the scheduling of specific tasks and assignments. Conducting reviews of development plans and stormwater management plans will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required with an interest in Municipal, Transportation, Site Design, and/or Field Service Engineering.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in AutoCAD, Civil 3D a plus.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) and internship/co-op experience preferred.
