The Junior Structural CAD Designer position at Hatch is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates or students pursuing an Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). The role involves working closely with experienced engineers and designers to support project delivery in the fields of mining, energy, and infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordinate with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as needed

Requirements

• A recent or soon-to-be graduate with an Associates of Science Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
• Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD software packages
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude
• Good safety awareness
