The New Graduate Nurse position at Menorah Medical Center focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic orthopedic and neuro unit. This role is part of the HCA Nurse Residency Program, which supports new nurses in their transition from education to practice through hands-on experience, mentorship, and advanced clinical training. The position emphasizes collaboration with medical providers and the delivery of compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, documenting care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses, intervening as necessary.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs proactively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
• No previous experience needed.
