Responsibilities

  • Perform basic Nuclear Medicine procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
  • Exercise professional judgment in providing healthcare services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment.
  • Assist practitioners with the operation of radiation detection equipment.
  • Order and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for injection, ingestion, or inhalation.
  • Identify radioactive substances to complete procedures.
  • Process and file films as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • State license if required.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
