About the position

The New Home Sales Consultant position is designed for a goal-oriented professional responsible for managing the entire sales process for new homes. This includes personal marketing, lead follow-up, site selection, design and plan development, and executing sales contracts. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with buyers, realtors, and contractors while achieving sales goals aligned with the company's marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Meet Sales Goals
  • Present Strategic Personal Marketing goals that align with Annual and Quarterly Sales Goals and marketing strategies of the company.
  • Complete Home Contract Package with excellence and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship of excellence with all employees and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship of excellence with all buyers and potential buyers.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship of excellence with all real estate realtors.
  • Attend and record notes or change orders as required for all Homeowner Walks in place by the Company.
  • Assure all homes and sales flyers are current.
  • Maintain a list of all available inventory homes along with any pertinent information.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Make initial contact with prospects through referrals, home shows, open houses, etc.
  • Qualify a prospect's interest and ability to purchase a home.
  • Conduct sales presentations for prospective buyers.
  • Follow up with phone calls and emails.
  • Be familiar with all GACAR, MLS, sales documents, and agreements.
  • Attend career-related courses/programs to enhance Sales and Marketing Skills along with those recommended by the Sales Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Active Florida Realtor license
  • Minimum 1 year home design and/or sales background
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading
  • Competence with technology, database, and customer relationship software
  • Ability to learn and use proprietary software system
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior new home sales experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software
  • General social media usage
