About the position
The Security Officer position at Signal Security involves providing security services during the holiday season at a retail location. The role focuses on deterring theft and vandalism, ensuring the safety of the premises, and maintaining a visible security presence. Officers will work independently and are expected to follow established protocols while using their own vehicles for transportation during shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide visual deterrent against theft, vandalism, and other crimes.
- Secure all access points on the premises.
- Drive the exterior of the building to check the security of doors.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 preferred).
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Must have a personal vehicle to reside in during the shift.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to the job site.
- Must be able to pass a BCI/FBI background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Nice-to-haves
- Customer service focus.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to follow store protocol and post orders.
