About the position

The Product Manager (PM) will oversee the development and lifecycle of hardware products, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective market research and collaboration with multi-functional teams. This role requires excellent communication skills to provide technical assistance to the sales team and manage the entire product lifecycle from initial design to final delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and promote products across all industry verticals, acting as project manager and technical interface between marketing, R&D, sales teams, and customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive and support technical inquiries.
  • Participate in pre-sales and sales initiatives to define appropriate solutions based on customer applications.
  • Develop, manage, and lead the commercialization of servers, racks, and clusters through the full product lifecycle.
  • Enhance functionalities of existing products, define new products, and contribute to roadmap discussions to excel in the market.
  • Develop project plans for products in hardware, firmware, and software aspects, leading and coordinating product releases as per customer demand.
  • Deliver product specifications and procedures for manufacturing, coordinating the certification process of new products.
  • Support activities to develop quality control criteria and safety guidelines for team members.
  • Analyze existing products to identify areas for improvement, updating technical documentation and reference designs.
  • Perform research to understand the competitive landscape and contribute to go-to-market strategies for products across all industry verticals.
  • Participate in voice of customer calls/meetings with the sales team to gather feedback for product line expansion.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols.
  • Solid understanding of all data center products, including servers, storage platforms, networking equipment, power, and cooling components.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT equipment protocols and topologies for deploying products in all industry verticals.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing hardware and software product life cycle.
  • Experience in building experimental setups and implementing measurement techniques to assess performance.
  • Proficient with CAD software programs and report writing programs.
  • Knowledge of thermal management of data centers, including liquid cooling implementations for electronics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
