About the position

New Mexico Disaggregated Manufacturing is Intel's high-volume manufacturing facility dedicated to developing and producing cutting-edge technologies such as Bridge, Photonics, and Foveros. The primary mission of this facility is to implement advanced manufacturing techniques and ramp up production volumes for Intel's latest product portfolio. This role is crucial in demonstrating high-volume manufacturing metrics, including high tool availability, high tool utilization, and overall low manufacturing costs. As a Module Engineer, you will play a vital role in realizing Intel's vision of extending computing technology to enhance the lives of individuals globally. In this position, you will be responsible for learning how to safely operate manufacturing tools and improving their safety during regular use. You will gain insights into how these tools function and how to maintain them to ensure they are available for production. Troubleshooting equipment errors and optimizing performance to meet desired tool health metrics will be key aspects of your role. You will also need to understand how your tools interface with the overall production process and work towards reducing defects to acceptable levels or eliminating them entirely. Your responsibilities will include upgrading equipment to enable new capabilities, performing experiments to understand the impact of equipment on production processes, and collaborating with vendors to address safety, quality, and output issues. You will work closely with factory manufacturing teams to monitor tool performance using statistical process control methodologies and maintain or develop procedural documentation for the manufacturing team. Additionally, you will collaborate with factory engineering groups to remove output roadblocks and develop solutions to complex problems using your education and experience. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Optics, Chemistry, or a related field of study.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6 months+ experience with MS-Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems including maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with scripting/programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience with JMP for DOE generation/analysis and statistical analysis of tool data.
