About the position
The Module Equipment Technician position at Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation involves performing functions associated with wafer production, including operations, equipment maintenance, and process optimization. The role requires working in a compressed work week schedule, contributing to the manufacturing process, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of production. The technician will also engage in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvement, while working in a clean room environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform operations and equipment maintenance for wafer production.
- Collect and evaluate operating data for on-line equipment adjustment and process optimization.
- Run material in a qualitative manner and conduct preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist in determining problems in the manufacturing process.
- Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
- Engage in process improvement and troubleshoot nonstandard events in the production line.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, or
- 1-year technical certification or Trade school in an equipment/technical focused program and a High School Diploma or GED, or
- 1-year related equipment preventative maintenance, repair & troubleshooting experience in a professional capacity or related Military experience and a High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
