The individual will serve as the Technical Lead for a designated category of parts, ensuring that design verifications are correlated and that the department is represented in global verification checks aligned with Japan. The role requires ensuring horizontal communication of past problem histories across the designated category of parts, leading meetings and technical reviews to develop the most efficient manufacturing processes, and ensuring robust process designs for mass production that combine manufacturing requirements, factory characteristics, and project targets. Additionally, the position involves supporting the physical verification of vehicles during initial production at the factory, understanding factory capabilities and constraints, and leading collaborative problem-solving activities with team members from various business units, including design engineering parts (DEB). The candidate will also be responsible for developing the capabilities of themselves and their colleagues through training, mentoring, and sharing experiences in their area of technical expertise, ensuring that technical know-how is developed for the designated part category.
