About the position
The AM Dishwasher position at Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront involves maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and organized. This role is essential for supporting the kitchen staff and providing a pleasant dining experience for guests. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop walk-in, dry storage, and back dock area to maintain cleanliness.
- Empty trash and take all trash to the dumpster, reporting if the dumpster is full and cleaning the area when needed.
- Clean the strainer under the dish machine.
- Wipe down all dish areas and use stainless steel polish on all metal surfaces, including glass rack area, sinks, and machine areas.
- Ensure glasses and cups are in the correct racks and follow proper procedures for silverware.
Requirements
- Good attitude and work ethic to ensure maximum operating efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift a 20lb tray of dishes and dump a commercial-sized mop bucket.
- Ability to operate a commercial vacuum.
