About the position
Stepping Stones Academy is seeking qualified caregivers for their new Infant Toddler Center and Preschool. This full-time teacher position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing program by setting up classrooms and providing individualized attention to children. The role emphasizes effective communication with parents and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Commit wholeheartedly to the Mission Statement of the Academy.
- Provide individualized attention to each child.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- Create a great learning environment in the classroom.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a licensed preschool setting.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) in Early Childhood Education or Associate's Degree with 16 credits in Early Childhood Education OR Bachelor's Degree with 12 credits in Early Childhood Education.
- CPR Certification (Preferred).
- Classroom experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with children in a preschool setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
