About the position

Molex is seeking a Product Development Manager for its Magnetic Solutions group, responsible for leading product development efforts in magnetics. This role involves collaborating with development teams, managing customer technical relationships, and driving product strategy to enhance the company's offerings in the magnetic products market.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for magnetics and product development.
• Manage customer technical relationships to ensure satisfaction and product alignment.
• Develop and implement product development strategies for magnetics products.
• Act as the technical interface to customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Collaborate closely with the team responsible for final product electrical performance.
• Support the Molex customer-facing systems lab in Fremont, CA.
• Foster cooperation with customer test labs to standardize system-level testing methods.
• Work with PHY/IC vendors to ensure robust operation of Molex products at the system level.
• Contribute to building a world-class team of engineers for magnetic product development.
• Drive the expansion of Molex magnetics products into new markets and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, physics, or a related field.
• Experience in technical leadership focused on the product development lifecycle.
• System level test and validation experience.
• Experience in the magnetic business or relevant application areas.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet targeted objectives.
• Technical leadership skills to guide and collaborate with a team.

• ICM connector experience
• Experience with Ethernet ICM/Discrete magnetics product development.
