About the position

The New Product Development (NPD) Manager at PSG will lead the Mechanical and Electronics Engineering team in Cincinnati, focusing on the development of innovative chemical dispensers. This role emphasizes achieving key performance indicators related to revenue, quality, on-time delivery, and cost management, while ensuring collaboration with various departments to deliver commercially successful products.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and motivate an internal team of Mechanical and Electronics NPD Engineers for effective project execution.
• Drive the team towards achieving key performance criteria and stretch goals.
• Oversee the development of equipment with electronic controls and ensure design optimization.
• Manage project timelines, scope, and budget to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third-party designers and development partners.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and protect the company's intellectual property.

Requirements

• Proven track record managing an NPD team from concept to commercially successful product sales in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues.
• Experience in change management to achieve desired results.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to influence colleagues at all levels.
• Experience using proven project management processes.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Design, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar degree.
• 7+ years of experience in New Product Development and 3+ years in a management role.
