About the position

Our facility in Burnet, TX is seeking a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality and continuous improvement are paramount. You will be a key player on a dynamic New Product Introduction team and will be responsible for multiple projects driving profitable growth in the company's Advanced Deposition Materials group. Projects will vary depending on size and scope, requiring flexibility and tailored project management solutions. This role will include direct interaction with a broad range of global senior, technical and functional leadership, and subject matter experts throughout the organization. These projects support development, deployment, and support of various chemical process equipment. In addition, you may be called on to support the production of specialty chemicals used by our customers to build high performance semiconductor products.

Responsibilities

  • Be an 'Agent of Change' - you must be comfortable working with all levels across the organization and must be able to question the status quo and be a strong communicator
  • Manage products in the New Product Development (NPD) funnel from Opportunities through Concept & Feasibility
  • Manage capital projects to expand manufacturing capacity, transition products to high volume manufacturing, or implement continuous improvements to existing products/processes
  • Utilize project management techniques to develop project charters, budgets, risk assessments, resource plans, Gantt charts and periodic status reports
  • Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Power BI and AgilePoint to develop and manage projects
  • Present project progress reports to key stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as R D, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal, and Supply Chain to accomplish business objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or similar technical field or related experience is required; a Master's degree in a technical field and/or an MBA is a plus
  • 3-5 years of Project Manager experience handling multiple projects with a strong understanding of project management principles and software tools; PMP certification is a plus
  • Good financial skills include experience with return-on-investment models and developing cost of ownership models
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can meet goals with minimal supervision
  • The ideal candidate is a high energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly analytical in decision-making processes yet comfortable dealing with a high degree of ambiguity
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environment; prior experience with a multi-national company is desirable
  • Accessible by laptop computer and cell phone for occasional use during off hours
