About the position

Kenvue is currently seeking a New Product Development / Lifecycle Project Manager to join our team in Skillman, NJ. This role is pivotal in coordinating cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products and manage modifications to our current product portfolio, a process we refer to as Lifecycle Management. The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, starting from project definition through to market introduction, ensuring that all targets set during the project definition phase are met. This position is accountable for managing risks, timelines, and ensuring that all processes are adhered to while effectively communicating project status and escalations as necessary. In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for providing visibility into the total project portfolio, which includes reporting and resource management. Key responsibilities include coordinating overall project execution, ensuring operational readiness, and monitoring project progress to keep it on track. The Project Manager will also drive the approval and status updates of New Product Development (NPD) and Lifecycle Management projects in governance forums, while leading the identification and resolution of key issues in collaboration with senior management. Ongoing status communications will be provided to all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate overall project execution and accountable for achieving project goals on time.
  • Project definition and project planning.
  • Assuring operational readiness for product launches.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through each phase of the project.
  • Monitor and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with senior management to communicate all aspects of the project.
  • Drive approval and status updates of NPD and Lifecycle Management projects in governance forums.
  • Lead, identify, communicate, and resolve key issues with key managers.
  • Provide ongoing status communications to all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Business & Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a related field with at least 2+ years managing cross-functional teams.
  • Product knowledge is essential.
  • At least 2+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience with leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of team dynamics and project-related finance.
  • Experience with new product development processes and terminology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Master's Degree in a technical or management field is a plus.
  • Highly effective knowledge of organizational and business acumen.
