About The Position

The New to Specialty Program in the ICU Department at Inland Valley Medical Center is designed for experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) looking to advance their careers in critical care nursing. Requirements

  • Current California RN license.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • ACLS (AHA) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
  • NIH Stroke Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellence in patient care based on patient and/or family needs.
  • Conduct assessments, treatment, and care on assigned units.
  • Manage pain, invasive lines, and surgical drains for patients.
  • Practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies.
