New Vehicle Inspection Specialist

Overview The New Vehicle Inspection Specialist (Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician) is responsible for performing light vehicle maintenance, conducting pre-delivery inspections, and managing the in-fleeting process in accordance with established procedures. This role involves routine tasks that require sound judgment and proactive initiative. Must have the ability to work the following schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm This position is located at 17326 Pine Cut, Houston, TX 77032 This position pays $14.50 / hour A pay differential will be paid as follows: Additional $1.00 / hr between the hours of 2pm-5pm We offer a robust Benefits Package including, but not limited to: * Paid Time Off * Health, Dental, Vision insurance; Life Insurance; Prescription coverage * Employee discounts on car rentals, car purchases and much more! * 401(k) retirement plan with company match and profit sharing Responsibilities * Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to company required procedures and utilizing the delivery checklist * Inspect new vehicle deliveries from transporter for damages and/or missing parts and complete the delivery receipt as required by the manufacturer * Perform light maintenance on vehicles in fleet * Perform other related duties as required * Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. * Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, with no more than 2 at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years (1 of the 2 violations or at-fault accidents must fall off within 12 months of employment). * No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI) in past 5 years. * Must be able to withstand moderate physical activity (i.e. lifting up to 30lbs, long periods of walking and standing). * Apart from religious observations, must be able to work the following schedule: * Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
