The New Vehicle Sales Assistant at Robert Denooyer Chevrolet plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience by facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new vehicle owners. This part-time position focuses on guiding customers through the setup and use of various applications and features that enhance their vehicle ownership experience, ensuring they feel supported and informed from the start.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in downloading and setting up the My Rewards App on their smartphones.
• Guide customers through the app's functions, ensuring they can access key features and understand its benefits.
• Facilitate the Blue Button Welcome Call, ensuring a smooth process and verifying completion as part of the GM pay plan requirements.
• Provide a comprehensive review of the vehicle's features, answering any technical questions and ensuring customer understanding.
• Conduct a welcoming tour of the dealership, introducing the customer to the facility and amenities.
• Personally introduce the customer to key members of the service team and ensure they feel comfortable returning for future service needs.
• Schedule the customer's first service appointment approximately three months after delivery, reinforcing the dealership's commitment to ongoing support.
• Review a sample Chevrolet survey with the customer, highlighting the goal of achieving a 'completely satisfied' rating on each question.

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude, particularly with smartphone apps and in-vehicle technology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple steps in the delivery process.
• Familiarity with Chevrolet technology and applications is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the sales and service teams to support their goals.
