About the position

Envision Physician Services is currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time opportunity at Jupiter Medical Center, located on the beautiful east coast of Florida. This position offers a unique chance to join a dynamic anesthesia care team comprised of 12 physicians and 26 CRNA/AAs, providing anesthesia services for a diverse range of surgical cases. The annual surgical volume at the facility is approximately 7,000, with 1,200-1,400 deliveries, ensuring a robust and varied clinical experience. The cases include General, Pediatric, Obstetric, Orthopedic, Vascular, Thoracic, Gynecological, and a new Cardiac program, allowing CRNAs to expand their skills and expertise in multiple areas of anesthesia practice. One of the highlights of this opportunity is the flexible scheduling with minimal call requirements. The current need for providers is for 4-10 hour shifts, although other shift options are available to accommodate the needs of the team and the facility. Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases including General, Pediatric, Obstetric, Orthopedic, Vascular, Thoracic, and Gynecological procedures.
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians and CRNAs to ensure optimal patient care and safety during anesthesia administration.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of anesthesia protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgical procedures to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  • Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative care to patients as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation related to anesthesia care.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Active state nursing license in Florida or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience in a variety of anesthesia cases, including but not limited to General, OB, and Pediatric anesthesia.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a high-volume surgical center or hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Advanced certifications in anesthesia or related fields.
