About the position

The Reporter / Editor plays a crucial role in the Klamath Tribes by ensuring that news relevant to the Tribal community is reported accurately and in a timely manner. This position involves the publication and distribution of the Klamath Tribes News, which serves as a primary source of information for Tribal members. The Reporter / Editor will be responsible for gathering news stories, conducting interviews, and writing articles that reflect the interests and concerns of the community. Additionally, the role includes the production of various promotional materials such as brochures and posters that highlight Tribal events, initiatives, and important announcements. The individual in this position must be adept at working with various media formats and platforms to effectively reach the audience. Collaboration with Tribal leaders and community members is essential to ensure that the content is relevant and engaging. The Reporter / Editor will also be expected to maintain a high standard of journalistic integrity and adhere to ethical reporting practices.

Responsibilities
