About the position

The NextGen Operations Leader will be instrumental in the start-up, deployment, and ongoing management of NextGen fleet projects and initiatives. This role focuses on operational aspects, including the evaluation and implementation of business processes, equipment, systems, and technology, while collaborating with various internal and external partners to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with support staff to secure resources for projects and initiatives.
  • Utilize business knowledge to identify process and equipment improvements.
  • Support operations during initial NextGen equipment deployment with hands-on training.
  • Provide training and development for field operations through effective coaching.
  • Implement scalable best practices to improve company efficiencies and KPIs.
  • Establish operations standards for safety, on-time delivery, quality, cost control, and waste reduction.
  • Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate improvements and enhance working relationships.
  • Set standards for NextGen fleet-related processes, including equipment maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to meet and exceed business objectives.
  • Identify and implement long-term resolutions to systematic failures and issues.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate and coach team members on quality service and operation of NextGen equipment.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to deliver safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of NextGen equipment, including Frac electrical equipment and mechanical-electrical build processes.
  • Familiarity with power generation processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in equipment manufacturing systems development and deployment.
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills at both strategic and functional levels.
  • Experience in employee training and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-performance teams and be a strong team player.
  • Commitment to company values and strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE practices related to the oil industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
