About the position

The position at OAK Network involves crafting high-quality front-end user experiences, primarily focusing on the Automation Hub consumer web application. The role requires expertise in Next.js and Tailwind CSS, with responsibilities that include developing new features, integrating third-party services, and optimizing applications for performance and responsiveness. The ideal candidate will contribute to a collaborative environment that values clear code and innovative technology in the blockchain and DeFi space.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement cross-chain messaging protocol.
• Design and implement new features on Automation Hub using Next.js, HTML, Tailwind CSS, and Typescript.
• Integrate third-party services such as OAuth, databases, notifications, etc., using standard REST API.
• Build new dApps from the ground up, in line with provided design specifications.
• Optimize dApps for compatibility and responsiveness across various platforms and devices.
• Monitor and enhance application performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging using automated tools to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, adhering to best practices and industry standards for Next.js development.

Requirements

• A solid background in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a tech company.
• Preferably located in San Francisco or the Bay Area.
• A quick and adaptable learner, able to take on multiple roles.
• Deep passion for blockchain technology.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with effective communication skills in English.
