About the position

The Night Attendant at HomeTowne Studios & Suites is responsible for providing exceptional customer service during night shifts, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety. This role involves handling guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest requests and complaints, and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas. The position offers opportunities for career advancement and is part of a team dedicated to enhancing the guest experience in a quality extended stay hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct courtesy calls within 30 minutes after guest check-in.
• Assist guests with requests and/or complaints after regular office hours.
• Handle check-ins/check-outs and make guestroom keys for lost/lockouts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry rooms and guest laundry.
• Clean, dry, and fold linen, blankets, bedspreads, etc.
• Provide courtesy patrol in lobby and front entrance area.
• Ensure exceptional customer service to all guests while maintaining guest privacy and safety.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests, posting charges to the Property Management system.
• Complete department checklists and reports for relevant shifts.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1 year in a previous customer service position.
• Basic office skills (math, cash handling, computer skills, etc.).
• Basic English communication (verbal and written) skills required.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
