About the position

The Night Audit Front Desk Agent at Candlewood Suites is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during the night shift. This role involves greeting and registering guests, checking them out, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the front desk. The agent will handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and promote hotel services to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer.
• Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, and local area attractions.
• Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.
• Field guest complaints and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.

Requirements

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
