About the position
The Night Auditor at Clarion Inn is responsible for overseeing the property during overnight hours, ensuring a seamless experience for guests while handling front-desk responsibilities and financial reconciliations. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy guest interaction and behind-the-scenes financial tasks, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining accuracy in financial records.
Responsibilities
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs with a welcoming attitude
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a smile
- Balance daily revenue, ensure accuracy in financial reports, and prepare the necessary paperwork for the morning shift
- Monitor property security and respond to emergencies
- Perform basic cleaning and organizational tasks to maintain lobby and front-desk appearance
- Assist with setting up the morning breakfast service, if applicable
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel front desk or auditing roles is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and stay focused during late-night hours
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus, but training will be provided
