About the position

The Night Auditor / Overnight Front Desk Agent at Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown is responsible for providing exceptional customer service during the night shift. This role involves greeting and checking in guests, handling inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring the safety and security of the property. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and resolving guest issues, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Operate the phone system, taking messages and transferring calls as needed
  • Process guest payments and maintain accurate records
  • Complete end-of-day financial reports and balance transactions
  • Assist with resolving guest issues or complaints
  • Ensure the safety and security of the property during the night shift

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
