About the position
The Night Auditor at Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of the hotel's financial records. Under the general direction of the Front Desk Supervisor and/or Hotel Manager, the Night Auditor is responsible for checking office accounting records for accuracy on a daily basis. This includes summarizing and compiling information necessary for the hotel's financial records while maintaining confidentiality of all privileged information. The position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting procedures, as well as the ability to handle cash transactions effectively. The Night Auditor will also be expected to interact with guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have during the night shift. This role is essential in maintaining the financial integrity of the hotel and ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Check office accounting records for accuracy on a daily basis.
- Summarize and compile information for the hotel's financial records.
- Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests during the night shift.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of hotel front desk experience, cash handling experience, and/or accounting procedures.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- No felony, theft or stealing convictions.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a gaming license.
