About the position

The Night Auditor at Best Western Plus Kissimmee, FL is responsible for assisting guests with their overnight requests while ensuring the smooth operation of front desk and accounting functions. This role involves checking in guests, handling reservations, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and providing excellent customer service during the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests, answer phones, and take reservations.
• Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies.
• Process invoices, post checks to vendors, and distribute employee checks.
• Reconcile accounts and balance the cash drawer.
• Log receipts and investigate out-of-balance accounts.
• Keep accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Help prepare for forecasts and audits.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Experience with accounting and facilities management software.
• Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work overnight.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of hotel experience (preferred).
• 1 year of front desk experience (preferred).
