About the position

The Night Auditor at IHG Hotels & Resorts is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This role is crucial for maintaining guest satisfaction and operational efficiency, focusing on front desk duties, guest services, and financial reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk duties, including check-in and check-out procedures
• Provide exceptional guest services, addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Handle hotel management tasks, such as room reservations and cancellations
• Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and interactions
• Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial activities
• Ensure the security of the premises by monitoring surveillance systems
• Assist with guest relations, resolving any issues or complaints
• Utilize phone etiquette and efficiently operate phone systems
• Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist non-English speaking guests

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficient in computer systems and software, including MS Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight shifts
• Knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
