About the position

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight shift. This role involves managing front desk responsibilities, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional guest services to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
• Process payments and manage cash handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback.
• Assist guests with requests for information about local attractions, services, and amenities.
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management preferred.
• Familiarity with night audit processes is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Proficiency in using phone systems and front desk software.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
