About the position
The Night Auditor at Crescent Hotels & Resorts plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and accounting functions during the overnight shift. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing guest check-ins, handling reservations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Night Auditor is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring all financial transactions are reconciled and accounted for accurately.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to guests during the overnight shift.
- Check in guests and manage reservations.
- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries and complaints.
- Process invoices and reconcile accounts.
- Balance the cash drawer and log receipts accurately.
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Assist in preparing forecasts and audits.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of hotel front office experience or prior experience as a Night Auditor.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality service.
- Prior experience with Marriott brand is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
