About the position

The position is for a full-time Hazmat Truck Driver at Small Potato Trucking, primarily focused on local night driving. The role involves transporting goods across several states while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and delivering products efficiently. Drivers will work a schedule from Monday to Friday, leaving in the evening and returning in the morning, with a focus on maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to Hazmat regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck to deliver goods across designated lanes including NE, KS, MO, OK, IA, and AR.
• Unload cargo using electric pallet jacks at delivery stops.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while following all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations.
• Manage back hauling as needed based on delivery routes.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver's license with Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum of 12 months of driving experience.
• Ability to drive in snow and use tire chains during winter conditions.
• Must be comfortable with night driving and working evening hours.
• No more than 2 jobs in the past 12 months.
• DOT Medical card required.
• Clean driving record with no accidents or tickets in the last 3 years.
• Must be 21 years or older.
