About the position

The position is for a Hazmat Truck Driver at Small Potato Trucking, focusing on local night driving routes. The role involves transporting hazardous materials across various states while ensuring safe and timely deliveries. Drivers will work a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, leaving in the evening and returning in the morning, with a focus on maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck to deliver hazardous materials to various locations in NE, KS, MO, OK, IA, and AR.
• Unload cargo using electric pallet jacks at delivery stops.
• Ensure all necessary information for deliveries is available and followed.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety regulations during transport.
• Work full weeks to receive full payment and bonuses.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class A driver's license.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.
• At least 12 months of driving experience is necessary.
• Must be comfortable driving in snow and using chains on tires during winter.
• No more than 2 jobs in the past 12 months.
• Must possess a DOT Medical card.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record with no accidents or tickets in the last 3 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with night driving is preferred.
• Familiarity with electric pallet jacks is a plus.
