About the position

The Night Guest Laundry Attendant (NGLA) is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during overnight hours. This role includes assisting with guest check-ins and check-outs, managing laundry operations, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the hotel. The NGLA plays a crucial role in maintaining guest satisfaction and adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests overnight, including checking in and checking out according to company guidelines.
• Process all laundry in compliance with company standards, including treating stains, washing, drying, and folding linens and terry.
• Process all dishware in compliance with company standards, including washing, drying, and packaging.
• Stock housekeeping carts and laundry with appropriate products to maintain PAR levels throughout the building.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures in accordance with company guidelines.
• Set up and maintain the grab and go breakfast in accordance with company standards.
• Conduct periodic daily tours of the property to inspect for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Report all safety and security issues directly to the manager or appropriate authorities.
• Assist with cleaning various areas of the hotel as assigned by the manager.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English proficiently.
• Ability to operate property management system technology.
• Ability to follow safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a hospitality environment.
