About the position

The Night Janitor role at Controlled Contamination Services is responsible for performing daily janitorial tasks at a designated customer facility or office during the night shift. This position ensures cleanliness and sanitation in sensitive environments, supporting various industries such as Life Sciences, Technology, IT, Defense, and Aerospace. The role requires effective communication and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety and cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities

• Fill all spray bottles with the germicide needed to clean and sterilize.
• Clean, stock, and remove trash in each room.
• Replace all trash can liners multiple times during the shift.
• Mop all floors and/or vacuum all carpets.
• Clean all surfaces within the environment including walls, desks, counters, equipment, and floors.
• Shampoo rugs and clean glass as required.
• Perform emergency cleaning as needed during the shift.
• Report any discrepancies in the overall condition of the environment to the supervisor.
• Notify the supervisor of any items needed to be completed by the next shift.

Requirements

• Entry level position, GED preferred but not required.
• Previous work experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Initiative and problem-solving skills.
