About the position

The Night Replenishment Manager (NRM) is a key member of the store leadership team at Home Depot, responsible for overseeing freight handling activities during the night shift. This role involves supervising the unloading, packing, and organization of freight, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The NRM is expected to coach and train associates on company policies, maintain safety standards, and make critical business decisions in the absence of higher management. The position emphasizes leadership, communication, and operational efficiency within the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-the-moment coaching based on observations and behavior.
• Partner with Night Operations ASMs regarding formal performance conversations and discipline.
• Recognize associates for demonstrating expectations and use recognition tools to highlight their contributions.
• Conduct quality walks of recently completed tasks and ensure merchandising locations are set according to standards.
• Ensure associates complete training requirements and provide input on their performance.
• Assist in the associate interview and hiring process as needed.
• Communicate and ensure adherence to store standards and company policies.
• Direct supervision of freight unloading, packing out, and pack down processes.
• Execute quality walks to ensure proper completion of tasks by associates.
• Ensure timely and efficient unloading of trucks and trailers, and proper packing of freight.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the store at the end of the shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hazmat procedures, and provide safety training to associates.
• Correct unsafe conditions immediately and assist customers in a safe manner.
• Perform Closing and Manager on Duty tasks, ensuring all store priorities are met.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
