The main ingredients of the job include safely and accurately selecting customer orders, building and wrapping pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy, and performing pre-shift equipment checks. You will be responsible for operating an electric pallet jack, moving products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software, and validating that the correct product has been selected and is damage-free. Efficiently delivering products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrapping palletized orders is also part of your responsibilities. Teamwork is essential, as you will collaborate with others to clear aisles of debris and return pallet jacks to the charging area. This position requires working in a multi-temperature environment, ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees, and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively, moving over 2,000 cases of product during each shift. You should be able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically from Sunday to Thursday, with occasional weekends and holidays required. Recent experience in a physically demanding role, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, or construction work, is preferred, along with experience in selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment and operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment.
