About the position

As a Night Shift Brake Technician at Goodyear, you will play a crucial role in servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at client sites. Your responsibilities will include performing line technician services such as oil changes, tire services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, and tire installations. You will also have the opportunity to learn and train for advanced repairs and state inspections, with initial training potentially taking place in a customer retail environment before transitioning to the client site. Responsibilities

  • Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at client sites.
  • Performing line technician services such as oil changes and tire services.
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance, including system diagnostics and brake repairs.
  • Executing fluid exchanges and flushes as part of preventative maintenance.
  • Installing tires and performing tire-related services.
  • Learning and training to perform advanced repairs and state inspections.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • ASE Certification(s).
  • Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
  • Experience with electrical systems, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition.
