About the position

The General Manufacturing Associate (Detailed Assembler) position at B. Braun Medical, Inc. involves assembling, packaging, and inspecting medical devices in compliance with established quality and production standards. The role requires adherence to procedures and regulatory policies to ensure safety and quality in the manufacturing process. This position is part of the 3rd shift team and plays a crucial role in the production of medical products that enhance patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, package, and inspect medical devices according to specifications and schedules.
  • Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
  • Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or remanufacture products as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to meet volume, cost, waste, and quality targets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
  • 0-1 years related experience or completion of PBS requirements with passing assessment.
  • Ability to work non-standard schedules as needed.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to use fine motor skills and pay attention to detail.
  • Strong hand dexterity for intricate hand assembly.
  • Problem-solving skills to improve quality and processes using lean tools.
  • Prior manufacturing experience involving intricate hand assembly is preferred.
  • Good reading comprehension and math skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work based on business demands.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
