About the position

The Operations Coordinator at B&H Worldwide Ltd is responsible for managing export operations within the logistics sector, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Ensuring export processes comply with AEO regulations and procedures.
  • Completing shipments from start to finish within the Export Operations team.
  • Reviewing and identifying areas to maximize profitability through proactive file management.
  • Maintaining and developing customer relationships alongside relevant departments.
  • Following company processes and standard operating procedures to meet KPIs.
  • Ensuring timely billing and accurate input of purchase costs for profit reporting.
  • Responding to customer quotations in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and sound knowledge of export processes.
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work proactively using own initiative.
  • Capacity to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent process and planning skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness regarding the impact of actions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Export experience is preferable.
  • Proven industry experience in logistics.
  • Solid background in US Customs law and procedures.
  • Dangerous Goods Compliance is an advantage.
