Requirements

  • Passion for the painting trade.
  • Read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry 50lbs.
  • High level of attention to detail, quality, and customer service.
  • Proficient with Apple devices and must use various apps for timecard, work orders, and communication.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment MVR and background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in general handyman skills, tile work, carpentry, refinishing, countertops, casework, cabinetry, drywall.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site assessments for both small and large painting jobs.
  • Complete a variety of trade skills such as painting, drywall, mudding, woodworking, carpentry, light plumbing, and light electric.
  • Professionally complete small, medium, and large size painting requests for customers in a commercial setting.
  • Complete a level 5 drywall painting finish.
  • Assist in creating SOPs and process flows for painting activities.
  • Perform prepping and painting techniques in a detailed, organized, efficient manner while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
  • Paint various surfaces including wood, doors, door frames, windows, drywall, concrete, ceiling tiles, and grid.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with team members, vendors, and general contractors.
  • Determine the best method to complete the job based on customer requirements and meet with Lead/Dept Manager to review work orders instructions.
  • Conduct equipment checks and ensure equipment is functioning.
  • Verify materials, equipment, and supplies needed for each job.
  • Help create standardized kits to ensure painters are always set up for success.
  • Follow existing company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Accurately report all work time and work functions.
