About the position

We are currently hiring for a full-time position with a start time of 3:30 PM, scheduled from Sunday to Thursday. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $25.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of functions that are essential to our operations, including receiving and processing incoming products, picking and filling orders from stock, stacking and wrapping products, and building pallets. Our team members are active throughout their shifts, working independently in a multi-temperature warehouse environment. You will utilize a voice-controlled system to select full-case dry, cool, or frozen products, and you will operate powered material handling equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. In this role, you will be expected to adhere to all safety policies and procedures while meeting productivity requirements. Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately select customer orders, free of damage
- Build orders according to assigned load tickets
- Shrink wrap and label orders
- Move completed orders to the loading dock or trailer
- Use powered industrial equipment, such as a forklift, electric pallet jack or walkie-rider
- Accurately receive inbound products, replenish and manage inventory as needed
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, such as clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets
- Observe all safety policies and procedures to meet productivity requirements
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Familiarity with voice-controlled picking systems
