About the position
The Security Team Member position at Mix Downtown involves ensuring the safety and security of patrons and staff in a fast-paced nightclub environment. This role requires active engagement with guests and artists while maintaining a secure atmosphere during operating hours, primarily on nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the premises to ensure the safety of patrons and staff.
- Communicate effectively with team members using a radio and headset.
- Assist in managing crowd control and ensuring compliance with venue policies.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies as they arise.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Possession of a valid California Guard Card.
- Ability to use a radio and headset for communication.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from the venue.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
