About the position
The Nights Shift Hourly Associate position at Kreate involves operating injection molding machines to produce quality plastic products. The role requires adherence to production standards and efficient communication with team members to ensure smooth operations. This full-time position operates on a rotating schedule, including weekends, and emphasizes teamwork and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Run various injection molding machines to produce quality products.
- Maintain efficiency to the approved standard.
- Inspect items and sort them to ensure they are defect-free.
- Prep products via deburring and cleaning to meet product standards.
- Inspect and pack products according to standards.
- Maintain work area and equipment in an orderly condition.
- Provide accurate production reporting and scrap counts at the end of the shift.
- Communicate with the previous shift to receive important job information.
- Communicate with Team Leaders and supervisors regarding any issues.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate required.
- Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment, including long periods of standing.
- Basic math skills are necessary.
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes regularly.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
