About the position

As a Research Analyst in the Customer Success team at NIQ BASES, you will play a pivotal role in client servicing and analytical duties. Your primary responsibility will be to work on projects that span a variety of large and small clients across different industries and categories. You will collaborate closely with your Client Consulting team to produce high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations. This includes participating in client discussions and presentations, where you will work through implications and recommendations based on the data provided. Your role will also involve supporting the development of your clients through training related to consumer demand principles, value-added projects, and meta-analysis. In terms of analytical duties, you will be tasked with developing and setting up research projects based on client briefs and business objectives. This will require you to analyze study results, summarize data, and draft comprehensive reports and presentations. Throughout your first year at BASES, you will benefit from extensive training designed to help you develop a strong understanding of successful innovation and the factors that drive in-market sales for new products. Responsibilities

  • Work on projects across a variety of large & small clients, in various industries or categories
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables in partnership with your Client Consulting team
  • Participate in client discussions/presentations and work through implications and recommendations based on the data
  • Support the development of your client(s) through training related to consumer demand principles, value-added projects and meta-analysis
  • Develop and set up research projects based on the client brief and business objectives
  • Analyze study results, summarize data and draft reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Current Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Marketing/Market Research, or an analytically or human insights focused field such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Liberal Arts
  • Developed analytical skills and the desire to constantly deepen these skills
  • Time management skills: the ability to manage projects and deadlines independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into a compelling story for clients
  • Demonstrate ability to execute against projects for a variety of innovative products, and develop a basic working knowledge of consumer and marketing drivers of sales volume
  • Interest in quantitative and qualitative market research
  • Utilization of statistical applications such as SPSS, R, Stata, etc.; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA minimum
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization required; no Visa sponsorship available
