About the position

The NIQ BASES Research Analyst role within the Customer Success team at NielsenIQ focuses on client servicing and analytical duties. The position involves working on various projects for a diverse range of clients, producing high-quality deliverables, and participating in client discussions to provide insights based on data analysis. The role also emphasizes personal development through extensive training in innovation and market sales strategies, aiming to enhance the success of new products in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects across a variety of large & small clients in various industries or categories.
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables in partnership with the Client Consulting team.
  • Participate in client discussions/presentations and work through implications and recommendations based on the data.
  • Support the development of clients through training related to consumer demand principles and value-added projects.
  • Develop and set up research projects based on the client brief and business objectives.
  • Analyze study results, summarize data, and draft reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Current Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Marketing/Market Research, or related fields.
  • Developed analytical skills and a desire to deepen these skills.
  • Time management skills to manage projects and deadlines independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate data into a compelling story for clients.
  • Ability to execute against projects for a variety of innovative products.
  • Basic working knowledge of consumer and marketing drivers of sales volume.
  • Interest in quantitative and qualitative market research.
  • Utilization of statistical applications such as SPSS, R, Stata, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with statistical applications like SPSS, R, and Stata.
  • Familiarity with consumer and marketing drivers of sales volume.
